Trump and hardened supporters and allies are vowing to “weaponize” the Department of Justice (DOJ). And as a minimum to revamp and realign the DOJ under the Presidency! His supporters and allies are numerous. Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and others in the Freedom Caucus Committee who have been riding herd on the majority of the Republican House have been calling for the same if not “defund” the DOJ along with the FBI. Not long ago after the murder of George Floyd was witnessed on video there was a call to defund the police and the Republican Party was appalled by that (it had different meanings to different people by the way). President Biden did not support any such thing. Republicans in an effort have called to restructure and fire many loyal civil servants who work diligently to maintain a sense of justice in our society to ensure democracy going forward. Trump talks about how that has happened in many other countries and touches upon weaponization against his enemies – and we are not talking about the Russians because he wants to be him! He wants to rule with an iron fist and have people praise him and when you do not – punishment! He recently had an hour-long interview with Univision as posted by the Washington Post– listen for yourself. Plus, I ask that you search the Internet and read about the relationship of Trump and his Attorney Generals, the FBI, and those who headed the same agencies. READ!
- Many former Trump officials, supporters, employees, and acquaintances who worked with Trump or knew him agree he should Not be President once again because it could mean the end of U.S. democracy or an age of retribution for whoever talked against him, did not support him or simply because you are of the wrong social class or ethnic group. The January 6 Committee demonstrated the same testimony from many of his own administration officials. The Republican Party and supporters will keep misaligning the truth and blame the Democrats and specifically President Buden for the weaponization of the DOJ or the FBI and overlook what All these officials that actually worked with him testified to. That is obvious and why Trump supporters do not understand that is beyond me!
