Proud Boys Leader Sentenced to 22 Years

Today marked a triumph for the United States democratic and judicial systems on those that purport to bring it down. Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio who was convicted in May along with other members of his neo-Nazi group received a 22-year sentence for seditious conspiracy. Tarrio has so far received the longest sentencing aside from Stewart Rhodes the leader of the Oath Keepers who was sentenced to 18 years earlier this May.

Tarrio did apologize to the Capitol police officers hurt during the January 6 insurrection. The 39-year Proud Boys leader asked for leniency from U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly, a Trump bench appointee. None was given. The Judge remarked Tarrio had not shown remorse after the insurrection and a harsh jail sentence was necessary to deter reckless if not dangerous ambitions in the future.

Enrique Tarrio was not present at the January 6 insurrection but days and weeks before encrypted messaging between him and other malicious groups had incited and planned to affect the Congressional Electoral process during the “Stop the Steal Rally” by Trump and his direct supporters. They included people like Rudy Guiliani (Trump’s Attorney), Donald Trump Jr. (Son), John Eastman (Trump’s Election Lawyer), Jeffrey Clark (DOJ Official who wrote the memo), and Senior Republican Congressmen like Ron Johnson (Refers to the insurrection as largely peaceful!)

  • Sad that Tarrio did not use his leadership and charisma to mobilize those who wanted to “fight” into a military unit and serve in the Ukrainian War. That is where the real definition of autocracy and dictatorship are on full display with Putin killing thousands of innocent civilians and raising Ukraine into a desolated country. The Justice Department is appealing Oath Keepers leader, Stewart Rhodes for a longer sentence since “terrorists” do receive 50-plus-year sentences. Reported is that most if not all the insurrectionists have shed tears at their sentencing! Additional Reading click here:
