The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has informed Trump and his attorneys they are turning over documentation to the Special Counsel, Jack Smith. This documentation was requested due to Trump’s continued assertion that he had All rights and privileges to walk away with the documentation or that NARA was there when packing documents and said Nothing! All lies and just a figment of his imagination.
Classified documentation is strictly managed by law, at all levels, This starts at the first possible identification as classified to the time 25, 50, or 75 years later if ever that it can be declassified and by whom! Never does one person determine classification not even the President by they do have the authority under advisement. There are groups of specialists and professionals involved and classifying entities not excluding responsible agencies behind the classification itself. Nothing personal on Trump, he has brought this upon himself because as always and he keeps proclaiming “He is above the law or at the very least, above most common man!”
Having dealt with classified documentation my entire military career and then some I question where the Classified Documents Manager was all this time. Never should have the documents been left overnight outside the vault. They should have been checked out and checked in at the end of the day whether the President or whoever had reviewed them or not – sorry for the inconvenience but that’s the way it should work. And, as you can see what happens when the laws, policies, and rules are not followed – chaos, compromise, and more of the same!
- Seems to me the top stratum of our society is entitled to what we at the bottom part of that stratum would end up paying up through more hours of labor, fines, absence of enjoyment with our families, or incarceration. We need to have these so-called leaders accountable and stop the in-fighting amongst ourselves because frankly speaking, they are the ones reaping the benefits.
