Apple Unveils the Vision Pro

Apple has formally unveiled the Vision Pro, a new technology that is stated to enhance reality and add a taste of spatial computing. The device was announced at Apple’s Worldwide Development Conference. Long awaited the device carries a hefty $3499 price tag and will not be available until 2024.

The Vision Pro looks very similar to ski goggles and provides non-keyboard interaction between man and virtual reality. Control can be attained through eye movement, voice commands, or simple hand gestures to open or close apps. The user can interact with their apps visually sitting in front of them. The device provides a see-through environment where you can be looking “at reality” in front of you but still be able to interact spatially with the device. The device is powered by Apple’s new R1 and M2 chip, which touts a total of 12 cameras, five sensors, and six microphones giving you extreme visual and sound clarity. The Vision Pro will not be available until sometime in 2024.
