Canadian Wildfires Choke the MidWest and NorthEast

Canadian wildfires have been wreaking havoc for the midwest and northeast in the US over several weeks. The latest cities to be strongly affected by the soot include Chicago, Milwaukee, and Detroit. Chicago was denoted as having the worst air pollution in world today and visibility was a dingy gray! The Midwest states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio have largely been this week. The elderly, young and those with heart and long issues are being warned to stay indoors until the air quality level improves.

Canada has not been able to get control of the raging forest fires which have burned approximately 29, 000 square miles of forest. The pollutants are now headed abroad as well. Scientists are worried that as the fires are uncontrolled, they are affecting the ozone. The amount of carbon going into the atmosphere is very high. Canada has been experiencing a higher-than-normal dry climate which has added tremendously to the fires.
